The location of the adjustable gastric band is indicated by the arrow. The orientation of the gastric band is now horizontal, and is no longer positioned at a left to right diagonal, supporting an anterior slip of the gastric band. Contrast that is outlining the left edge of the gastric band raised the question of a potential band erosion, but instead represents contrast in the fundus that is outlining the gastro-gastric plication that had been made with sutures. The absence of an eccentric dilation of the proximal gastric pouch does not exclude an anterior slip.
