This sonographic image characterizes a classic picture of Sjögren’s syndrome (Figure 1) therein a heterogeneous echopattern of the glandular parenchyma is obvious along with atrophic diffue cystic cavities. The overall picturesque recaptitulates a characteristic “cribriform” appearance. Miliary sporadic calcifications are also conspicuous. Moreover, there appears a remarkable increase of vascularity on the Doppler interrogation.
