Biography

Tao Tan is working at in diagnostic image analysis group, radiology, radboud university nijmegen medical centre. His work is mainly related to computer-aided detection and diagnosis of cancers in medical images. Moreover he is interested in conducting observer study to investigate the effects of using computer-aided software on the performance of radiologists. From 2010 to 2012, he was involved in the European FP7 programme, the Highly Accurate Breast Cancer Diagnosis (HAMAM) project, working on cancer classification in automated 3D breast ultrasound.
