Optical Projection Tomography

Optical Projection Tomography or OPT is a type of tomographic technique involving optical microscopy for the 3D imaging of biological tissues.  It is mainly used for the reconstruction of vertebrate embryos and also to study about the three dimensional (3D) anatomy of developing organs. OPT sometimes referred as Optical-CT and Optical-ECT which are Optical Computed Tomography and Optical Emission Computed Tomography respectively.
